Charity Ministries
As God’s helping hands and feet, this group goes beyond the borders of our communities to do various types of charity work.Derby Ruach has now adopted two kids from Zimbabwe Moses and Winnet. Please help us help more disadvantaged kids by going to our donate page.
Men’s Fellowship
The AFM Derby Men’s ministry currently holds regular events geared towards challenging, encouraging and igniting the zeal of all men. This dynamic group of leaders and visionaries come together for breakfast meetings held on Saturdays once every month throughout the year
Intercession
Intercessory prayer for youth, church, schools, community, leaders, and the nation. Team also prays for those in need of prayer. On Fridays the service is held in the main Spondon Village Community Hall at 18:00 -19:00hrs.
Women’s Ministry
This ministry brings women of all ages and nationalities together. Regular meetings are held with an endeavour towards:
Successful Wives (married women) Ladies-in-Waiting (single women) Mothers-in-Waiting (wives believing God for babies) Positive Parents (single mothers) Senior Sisters (mature women of God – aged 50 and above)
Young ladies are urged to display the love of Christ by employing His standards of excellence—not those of our modern society. Healthy living and high self-esteem are among our top priorities.
We connect women, offer encouragement and support, pray and study God’s Word together, strengthen relationships, and enjoy fellowship.
Ladies meet periodically to fellowship and discuss projects and issues that are of special concern during this stage of life. On Saturdays, all women are invited to a Bible study, and Teachings at the Church
Couple’s Ministry
This is a ministry that is a gift from God to equip couples to have marriage lifelong effective communication not just for marriage survival but living abundantly in a thriving and health marriage. This is achieved through life coaching, marriage counselling and spiritual direction, aimed ato help couples overcome struggles, achieve their goals, and unite as a team. It’s not just about divorce prevention, but if what you need right now is a way to save your marriage, we want to help you
Children’s Ministry
Youngsters ages 5 – 7, are transformed for eternity with exciting worship, wacky games, puppet shows, Bible lessons, and tasty treats. Ages 8 – 12, are introduced to Christ, then instructed how to live for Him in today’s world with worship, Bible study, games, refreshments, and prayer.
All children meet at 10:00am on Sundays in the Sunday School Hall
Youth Ministry
Catering for young believers from teenagers to young adults, this vibrant ministry reaches thousands of the church’s next generation leaders through conferences, youth empowerment workshops, social media, concerts and other relevant means.
